A couple weeks ago our church had their VBS.  It was great.  You can read more about it on Derek’s blog.  Throughout the week there were about 150 kids who attended.  There were also a lot of staff who helped all over the place.  About 30 of those staff were some of my Jr. High and High School students.  Each day I would meet with them and give them a quick training about what it means to SERVE.  Here is what we went over…

S:  Set an example

E: Encourage the kids

R: Remember why we are here

V: Venture out of your comfort zones

E: End well

It is always fun to challenge and encourage students to serve.  They all did a great job!
