Over the weekend our church held an event for 4th – 6th grade students.  It was a great overnight event with lots of games, food , and little sleep.

Saturday Morning I had the chance to talk to the parents about what lies ahead of them as they approach the teen years.  WHat I tried to get across to them was that you can successfully get through the teen years if you PLAN ahead.

P=partner with others

L=learn the culture

A=Actively involved in their lives

kN=know what battles to fight

It was great to get to share with the parents.  Some already have teenage kids, others are a couple years away and they will be there before they know it!  Derek did a great job with the event I am sure that all the kids had a great time.
